The 3rd Annual Growing Hope Concert was a night to remember! On Sunday, September 7, 2025, we came together at Gallagher Way in Chicago to celebrate hope, community, and the transformative power of music.
Headlined by the legendary Jeff Tweedy, founding member and leader of the Grammy award-winning band Wilco, the 3rd Annual Growing Hope Concert was guided with energy and warmth by Ryan Chiaverini, co-host of Windy City Live and Lead Sports Anchor at ABC7 Chicago, along with special guest Marty Lennartz of WXRT. The evening also featured remarkable performances from Grey Morgan, Mary Grace Junkins, Sylvia Pine, members of the Chicago Philharmonic Orchestra, spirited Apachi Day Camp campers, and Lisa Rock & Friends. Your support and enthusiasm made the evening unforgettable. Together, we are building a kinder, more hopeful world through the power of music and community.
Growing Hope is a call to action, a mindset, and movement designed to combat a growing crisis of hopelessness, anxiety, and fear by engaging our community, and youth in particular, as upstanders in their communities. Rooted in the Jewish spirit of Tikkun Olam (repairing our world), Growing Hope will empower our community to use the tools of empathy, kindness, and creativity in service of building a brighter future for all.
At JCC Chicago, we believe in the collective impact of the Jewish spirit and are moving forward on an ambitious course of action with an urgent sense of purpose ignited by our 6-month Violins of Hope residency–which reached over 200,000 people throughout the state of Illinois.
Every gift you give plants seeds of kindness, connection, and joy across our community. With your support, we can bring more people together, create meaningful experiences, and inspire a brighter future for all.
Join us in spreading hope.
